Our phones have transformed our brains. We use our phones for most if not all, things. On my TikTok account, I create content for those who are learning about their curly hair. I have been able to grow a community of 17,000 people on the app. They are now my consumers and I provide what they need/want.
On my platform, I share countless hairstyle videos, advice for beginners, and product recommendations. Engagement is the one thing that will continue to allow my platform to thrive. Who am I reaching? What do they want to see from my page? About 95% of my followers are women and the core age range is 18-24. So, I adapt to my audience in the best way I can.

They love shopping hauls, relatable sit-down talks, and sharing the most trending products or hairstyles. When brands release a new item or pop out with a rebrand— I already know what topic I am covering in my content for the day or day(s).
By staying on top of trends and product releases, I can ensure that my content will reach more viewers within my target audience.
To have my followers continue to search for and engage with my content, I need to reach them in every way. I implore them to have post notifications for my account, join my live streams, and like, comment, and share on posts. This is what integrated communications is all about—trying to engage my audience and be consistent with my niche.
Every content creator has a platform and wants to have a visual representation of who they are and what they do. This allows your account to be clear and concise with what you are sharing and will help you grow on the platform to find your target audience. All of my content is linked to one another and this allows the videos to flow through my page smoother.
The media that I produce is not the sole reason for my success on the app. My appearance, clothing, way of speaking, video background location, and partnerships are factors that play into the integrated communications of my account. You have to look at it as how I market myself and what people think of me when they see my content and page. Once engaging and being lopped into my community, then followers will continue to see the image I am trying to uphold on my account. Telling a story through any form of content and remaining consistent with it will allow it to thrive.
